Valencia County Literacy Council provides free literacy services for adults and families, including one-on-one tutoring in basic reading and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), literacy-based childcare for adults in classes, and free children’s books distributed in low-income clinics. The council’s mission is to help adults achieve personal goals and support young children in developing pre-literacy skills, serving some of the county’s most vulnerable residents.
