Chaves County CASA Family Resource Center

Chaves County CASA operates a Family Resource Center that serves as a one-stop welcoming hub of support, services, and opportunities for families. The center utilizes a multi-generational, strengths-based, and family-centered approach that reflects and is responsive to community needs. Services enhance parenting skills, foster healthy development and well-being of children, youth, and families, prevent child abuse and neglect, increase school readiness, connect families to resources, develop parent and community leadership, engage males and fathers, support healthy relationships, and promote family economic success. The center provides parenting classes, budgeting guidance, nutrition cooking classes, assistance securing stable housing, assistance establishing and maintaining utility services, and help identifying and securing various services for parents and caregivers.
