Atomic City Transit provides free public transportation throughout Los Alamos and White Rock. The system operates Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm and offers multiple service types including fixed-route buses, on-demand ride services through the ACT MyRide app, and paratransit services (ACT Assist) for persons with disabilities unable to use fixed routes. The Bandelier Shuttle operates seasonally (mid-May to mid-October) between Frey Trail and Bandelier National Monument. The system is funded through Federal transit grants, Transit Gross Receipts Tax, and local General Fund dollars, ensuring all services are completely free with no fares.
