Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region provides one-on-one and group mentoring for youth ages 6-18, focusing on academic, social, and emotional development. The program matches youth with trained adult mentors (‘Bigs’) for ongoing support, guidance, and positive youth development. Services are free or on a sliding scale, with special outreach to at-risk and underserved youth. The Los Alamos office offers direct services, including mentor training, youth leadership activities, and community-based events. The mission is to ignite the power and promise of youth through supportive mentoring relationships.
