CASA of Lea County recruits and trains community volunteers to provide unbiased advocacy for foster children from birth to 18 years of age. Each child served is a victim of abuse and/or neglect requiring state protection and foster care placement. Since incorporation in 2003, the agency has evolved from solely providing Court Appointed Special Advocates to offering a broad philosophy making Lea County a safer environment for all children through court advocacy, Family Time Visitation Center services, and the Canine Companion Program.
