First Nations Community HealthSource’s Youth Mentoring Program provides one-on-one and group mentoring for children ages 5-18, focusing on academic improvement, self-esteem, and reducing substance abuse and gang involvement. The program partners with local schools and community organizations, offers culturally relevant activities, and supports youth facing academic, behavioral, or social challenges. All mentors are trained and background-checked. The program is designed for underserved and Native American youth but is open to all eligible children in the Albuquerque area.
