Mesalands Community College Upward Bound provides free academic and career mentoring for eligible high school students in Quay County, focusing on college readiness, leadership development, and support for disadvantaged and at-risk youth. The program includes one-on-one and group mentoring, tutoring, and empowerment activities, serving foster, homeless, Native American, and low-income students. Upward Bound is federally funded and dedicated to increasing postsecondary success for underserved youth.
