The Region 9 Education Cooperative Home Visiting Program provides free, voluntary home visiting services for pregnant women and families with children under five in Lincoln County. Using the Parents as Teachers curriculum, home visitors offer in-home support, parenting education, child development guidance, and resource navigation. The program includes monthly playgroups at the Ruidoso Community Center and mobile playgroups in outlying areas, ensuring access for underserved communities. Families receive free books, safe sleep cradles for infants, and connections to local resources. The program is open to all eligible families regardless of income or background, with a mission to promote healthy child development, confident parenting, and school readiness.
