The mission of Sunrise Clinics is to “provide exceptional care without exception to every patient every time.” We believe that everyone has a right to accessible, exceptional, comprehensive, integrated and compassionate healthcare. We provide services to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. We accept most health insurance plans, Turquoise care (Medicaid) and Medicare and we offer assistance to individuals and families eligible to sign up for health insurance.

This award celebrates nonprofits in New Mexico that show strength, innovation, and adaptability—especially during tough times. For us, this recognition belongs to YOU, our patients and community, just as much as it does to our staff and partners.
Since opening in 2019, Sunrise Clinics has been committed to making sure families in San Miguel, Guadalupe, Quay, and Colfax counties have access to high-quality medical and behavioral health care—no matter your income, insurance status, or where you live. Today, we proudly serve over 15,000 patients each year.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, instead of pulling back, we leaned in—expanding services to meet urgent needs. From launching a school-based telehealth program that now reaches 24 rural schools, to opening a stand-alone Behavioral Health Clinic in Las Vegas, we continue to grow so our communities can thrive.
