Title I Developmentally Delayed Pre-Schools offers early childhood development screening and intervention services for children with developmental delays. Services include therapy (speech, physical, occupational), day/child care assistance during school hours for qualifying families enrolled in the program or referred by FIT (Family Infant Toddler), food assistance through the Child Nutrition Program for qualifying families enrolled in the program or referred by FIT (Family Infant Toddler), adolescent health services including reproductive health education and referrals to community providers as needed based on age appropriateness of child’s needs within this setting only—not general population outside of this specific program—and safety car seat loan programs available upon request if funding allows it at time of request along with safety education provided throughout year via classroom activities focused around injury prevention topics such as fire safety drills etc., promotion healthy behavior curriculum designed specifically targeting “at risk” children who may benefit from additional supports beyond typical classroom instruction due to identified risk factors present within their individual circumstances.
