Yucca Lodge provides intensive residential treatment for persons with chemical dependency, many with secondary mental health disorders. Established in 1977, Yucca Lodge is a facility of the New Mexico Department of Health and is licensed by the State. The Lodge is located on the campus of Fort Bayard Medical Center near Silver City, adjacent to the Gila National Forest. The secluded setting encourages residents to focus on treatment and reflection on the roles of addiction and recovery in their lives. Treatment stays average 4 or more weeks depending on resident treatment needs. Services available in Spanish and English.
