FAQ

  1. What are the features of the directory?

  2. Can I print an entire service category page (all resources)?

Yes. The Family Services page has a dedicated print layout for the COUNTY + CATEGORY view.
STEP 1: Select a COUNTY from the list
STEP 2: Select a CATEGORY from the dropdown.
STEP 3: Select the GRID VIEW display option for the best results.
STEP 4: Print the page using your typical steps for printing from your browser. The pages should show a header with the county and service category as well as page numbers.
DO NOT attempt to print the entire directory or all resources in an entire county at once. Your session will time out.
  3. Why are the resources listed side-by-side (or in a column)?

The resource listing pages have two display options: column or grid. The view selector is above to tools at the top of the page. The darker side of the selector shows the current view . Click the lighter-colored option to change the view. NOTE: your current view selection will remain active on all pages. Change it as needed.
  4. Why isn’t a (or my) resource included? OR
Can I tell you about a resource you don’t have listed? OR
    Can I suggest a resource?

This directory only lists resources that address service cost barriers. A family services resource is eligible to be included if it offers a service for free, on a sliding scale, through Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits, or Tribal benefits. “No co-pay” options will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Use the ADD A LISTING form in the main menu under MORE to suggest a resource.
  5. I noticed a problem with a resource listed in the directory. Can you tell you? OR
I am a representative of a resource you have listed. Can I correct or add information? OR
I found a resource in your directory that doesn’t address service cost barriers. How do I notify you?

CONTACT US to tell us what is inaccurate, missing, etc. Please include a link to the resource you are referring to.
  6. Why aren’t all the New Mexico counties included?

Not every New Mexico county has an active 100% New Mexico initiative team in place or the team is still gathering resources for their directory. Some counties without 100% New Mexico initiatives may have a few resources listed because they are used by residents in a neighboring county that has an active initiative team.
  7. What is the 100% New Mexico Initiative?

The 100% New Mexico initiative, a program of NMSU’s Anna, Age Eight Institute, provides each county with a collaborative process for transforming our under-resourced communities into fully-resourced environments, creating local access to services described in the book 100% Community: Ensuring ten vital services for surviving and thriving. We are making a system-wide change in each county, creating a seamless system of family services where ten service sectors are working in alignment with local networks of organizations.
