LA Cares is a volunteer-run nonprofit food pantry providing monthly food boxes, emergency food, and rent/utility assistance to Los Alamos County residents in need. Services include shelf-stable foods, fresh produce, meat, bread, eggs, personal care items, school snacks, and dietary-restricted foods. The organization also offers referrals and collaborates with other agencies to address client needs. Food distribution occurs monthly at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. LA Cares is committed to fighting hunger and homelessness in the community.
